California Bitcoin is operated by Davisville Labs LLC, a California limited liability company.

Educational Purpose & No Warranties

All content is for informational purposes only. The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that content is error-free, complete, or current.

User Conduct

To protect our community, you agree not to:

• Use the site in violation of any law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems.
• Interfere with the functionality or security of the site.
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data in an abusive manner.
• Misrepresent your identity when contacting us.

Intellectual Property & Source Materials

Davisville Labs LLC retains its rights in California Bitcoin's original software, site design, branding, original writing, original structured research, and other materials created by or for Davisville Labs. Except as permitted by law or an applicable license, you may not reproduce Davisville Labs proprietary materials for commercial gain without permission.

California Bitcoin also identifies, links to, summarizes, and in limited cases quotes third-party, open-licensed, or public-domain source material. Those underlying materials remain subject to their own copyright, license, public-domain status, and other applicable rights. Davisville Labs does not claim ownership of third-party or public-domain material merely because California Bitcoin cites, organizes, analyzes, or incorporates facts from it. Short source quotations may be used for commentary, scholarship, research, criticism, or historical attribution. Nothing in these Terms grants additional rights in third-party material or restricts lawful use of material that is in the public domain.

Newsletter & Communications

By subscribing, you agree to receive educational updates. In accordance with California law, you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. We will never sell your email address to third parties.

Premium Subscriptions & Payments

We offer a paid premium subscription service. Should you sign up for the subscription service, you agree to the following:

• Automatic Renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
• Cancellation: In compliance with California law, you may cancel online through your dashboard.
• Stripe: Payments are processed via Stripe; we do not store credit card data.

Agent Research & Machine Payments

California Bitcoin also offers machine-readable research operations for AI agents. Available operations, current prices, and supported payment methods are published through the live agent capability and payment-challenge surfaces. A payment challenge or attempted payment is not a completed purchase. Settlement and result delivery are separate events.

Depending on the operation and current configuration, machine payments may use MPP-compatible rails, Tempo stablecoin settlement, x402, or another payment method expressly published by California Bitcoin. Runtime payment challenges are authoritative for the exact operation, price, asset, network, and payment method being offered.

California Bitcoin does not act as a bank, custodian, money transmitter, investment adviser, broker, exchange, or wallet provider merely by accepting payment for its own research service. We do not require or store a purchaser's private wallet keys to deliver paid research operations.

Billing Corrections, Refunds & Delivery Recovery

Canceling a recurring membership stops future renewal according to the cancellation flow and does not automatically create a refund for a prior service period, except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

Paid machine operations are request-bound. If payment settles but a paid result cannot be delivered, the documented recovery path may require retrying the identical request with the identical payment credential so the prior settlement can be recovered without another charge when the payment rail supports it.

If you believe you were charged twice, charged incorrectly, or paid for an operation that could not be recovered through the documented retry path, contact [email protected]. Billing corrections and refunds are handled according to applicable law, payment-provider rules, and any transaction-specific terms presented at checkout or in the payment challenge.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAVISVILLE LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, OR ASSETS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $100.00 USD IF NO PAYMENTS WERE MADE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Davisville Labs LLC from any claims, damages, or legal expenses arising out of your use of the site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. We may update these Terms from time to time. For changes that do not require a separate notice or consent, continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

If an accepted automatic-renewal or continuous-service offer is materially changed, or its fee changes, California Bitcoin will provide any separate notice, cancellation information, timing, or consent required by applicable law. Posting revised Terms by itself does not replace a separate notice or consent when the law requires one.
